About AHBC

jeff-clark-annapolis-homebrew-club“Welcome to the Annapolis Homebrew Club! We embrace the art of brewing (and the science behind it!), as well as the camaraderie and collaboration it creates. It doesn’t matter if you’re a hop head, a German lager guy, a Belgian beer gal, a novice or an expert – our doors are open to all.

From sharing our brewing knowledge with each other and charity fundraising events in the community to regional brewery road trips and festivals, we have something for everyone.”

Juan Ascencio Evia
President, Annapolis Homebrew Club

The mission of the Annapolis Homebrew Club is to promote public awareness and appreciation of the quality and variety of homebrewed beer through education, research, and the collection and dissemination of information; to serve as a forum for the technological and cross-cultural aspects of the art of brewing; and to encourage personal responsibility when using beer or other alcohol-containing beverages.

In addition, we believe in giving back to the community, which we accomplish through partnerships and by hosting events that benefit local charities.
