DESCRIPTION:It’s time for The Annapolis Homebrew Club’s 5th Annual Pints For Paws Homebrewing and Craft Beer Festival to benefit the SPCA of Anne Arundel County!\n\n\n\nYour ticket includes samples from more than 40 homebrews\, local craft breweries and a commemorative pint glass. There will be food trucks\, a band\, vendors\, silent auction and more. \nFeaturing beers from Local Craft Breweries including Crooked Crab\, Calvert Brewing Company\, Cult Classic\, Chesepiooc Real Ale Brewery and Mully’s and Exclusive VIP beers from Sapwood Cellars and others. \nUPDATE – VIP TICKETS HAVE SOLD OUT. A limited number of VIP ticket will be available for $55. With a VIP ticket\, you will receive early access to the event\, VIP port-o-johns and access to the VIP tent with snacks\, water and samples to exclusive beers including beer from Sapwood Cellars. \nThe SPCA of Anne Arundel County mobile unit will also be on hand to showcase adoptable animals. DESCRIPTION:The Annapolis Homebrew Club is excited to announce that the much-beloved community event\, Pints for Paws Homebrewing and Craft Beer Festival\, will return for the fourth year on June 23th\, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.\, at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. \nAs in the previous three years\, all proceeds from this family-friendly event will be donated directly to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County. \n“The organization is a thread in the cultural fabric of this area. Growing up in Annapolis\, the SPCA sign on Bay Ridge Avenue is etched into my memory. As I grew older\, I became aware or the tireless work they have done since the 1920s and I have been a supporter ever since\,” says AHBC President Jeff Clark. \nThe event will feature samples from breweries where AHBC alums have “gone pro” – as well as access to exclusive brews from club members. \nThe SPCA of Anne Arundel County will also be on-site with dogs\, cats\, rabbits\, hamsters and other critters available for adoption. SUMMARY:Barktoberfest (Partnering with Dogwood Acres)
DESCRIPTION:We are partnering by Dogwood acres for their pet friendly Oktoberfest event\, Saturday October 21st\, a daytime event (times to be decided soon). They have been a silent auction donor for our P4P event since inception. This event will take place at the Stage One\, Park Place (just like P4P)\, about 100 people. We are serving and brewing beers and ciders. They will compensate for all brewing ingredient expenses\, and “run” and “market” the event (and provide glasses for tasting etc). Dogwood Acres will spend all ticket moneys on the event\, and likely some out of pocket from their organization (its a fun community outreach event\, its not a for profit event). We will have a signup sheet on this page shortly-let us know if you are interested in brewing and/or serving. \nSummary of our side of the bargain: we will need about 10 kegs\, and some servers with jockey boxes\, you know the drill.
